Project Brief

Cosmos DB is a multi-model, schema-free database designed for global, hyper-scale redundant storage with configurable consistency. Cosmos DB can accommodate queries in the Petabyte range, and is suitable for any type or size of mission-critical enterprise workload.

Design Artifacts from the Cosmos DB Design Process include interview notes, some conceptual designs around Visual Data Querying and even theoretical database design. Yet for all the technology, it always comes down to people, and what will help make their lives easier.

Concept Design

Fluent For Complexity - A Week-long Examination of Far-future Design for Mission-Critical Enterprise UI. This experiment for FedEx imagines how Augmented Reality could help the Company save money and time, not just by not flying Executives around the World, but also by shrinking the World — and putting it at your feet. Literally!

Cosmos DB Original Comic Book

This was a fantastically exciting project of which I was proud to be the Lead Visual Artist and Project Creative Director. I was also Producer, as I wrote the script, broke it down, ran all the Story Meetings (including Senior Management pitches), iterated on the Storyboards and then designed an adorable Original Character.
